After reading your book, I just wanted to thank you for writing it… I enjoyed being able to see Korea through your eyes, especially during a time when Korea was so different from how it is right now. I think the book gave me a glimpse of my grandparents’ and my parents’ childhood and homeland. I also thank you because the book has encouraged me in many other ways as well. I am in my early twenties, and my future is filled with uncertainty… I know in my heart that God has a wonderful blueprint for my life, but I have been really confused about how He wants me to live… what kind of career, what kind of dream, what kind of vision he wants me to have. I think your book helped me reali
ze that no matter what, the life that He has in store with me is a beautiful piece of art, and my role is to trust him and do my best to fill each day with the best “grace notes” I can. It’s comforting to know that the song is already written, and is approved by Him. It’s comforting to know that it is something beautiful. It’s exciting that He is inviting me to partake in the creation of something beautiful and valuable.

Wonderful evening of Book discussion of “Grace Notes,” and Korean Food at Dove Canyon

Dove Canyon book club invites Sang for an evening of Korean Kal-Bi (marinated ribs) and Man-du (Korean style pot stickers) on November 3rd, 2011. The club’s chef, Mark even made Kim-Chee fried rice to accompany the Korean epicure. Each member of the book club had specific questions to promote a focused discussion.
